The Wordsprawl demo
My new New York Times Spelling Bee inspired micro game
Come play the latest demo of my new game, WORDSPRAWL!
As you can tell, it’s heavily inspired by the New York Times spelling be (and the countless other similar games) where you find words from a bunch of letters. The issue I have with these games is that there is no satisfying end. You keep going until you can’t think of any more words, but there is always this itchy uncomfortable feeling that there’s a really obvious word that you’re forgetting. For Wordsprawl, my goal was to change your objective. Rather than finding every word, you’re goal is “completing” the board: have every letter be part of at least one word.
There are some concerns with this demo, but for the most part it’s pretty fun. Play it and send me any feedback you have :)
